Ecology
A Cyprus-based collective working through art, community, and ecology
We began in 2025, bringing together people who believe that art and collective practice can still hold meaning in the midst of uncertainty. Our work grows slowly, collaboratively, and with care.
Ephemera Collective is a space for thinking, making, and learning together. We work through art, shared learning, and long-term projects that connect cultural practice, ecological attention, and forms of community life.
We are interested in processes that take time. Rather than separating culture from everyday life, or imagination from material conditions, we try to hold them together.
Our Pillars
Our work grows from
three connected foundations
Art as a form of affection
We approach art as a way of paying attention, creating relation, and making space for expression that can be both personal and collective.
The environment as an interdependent system of relations
We understand ecology not as a backdrop, but as a web of living relations that shape how we build, grow, and inhabit space.
The community as a complex way of relating to each other
We think of community as something that is practiced, negotiated, and cared for over time. It is never automatic and never finished.

What We Are Building
Our work takes different forms, but all of it is connected.

The Zine
Each year we produce a zine around a subject that occupies the collective’s thinking. The first issue has already been published, and the next is under construction.

Projects
We are gradually developing projects and applying for support through different EU funding frameworks. As these projects take shape, they will also find their place here.
The Hub
In Analyontas, we are slowly imagining and preparing a shared space for cultural activity, cultivation, building, and collective life. It is a long-term project that we hope to build with and for the community.
We Share
What We Learn
Alongside our own work, we also share knowledge gathered through practice. This part of Ephemera grows from experience in gender equality and social inclusion, EU project management, and team building and organizational development. This is not separate from the rest of what we do. It is another way of staying in relation with others and supporting work beyond our own immediate projects.
